For HP OpenVMS support
SWEP are pleased to announce that we now issue new licenses or transfer existing VAX or Alpha licenses for the Stromasys (formerly SRI) CHARON-VAX and CHARON-AXP emulators.
These emulate a complete MicroVAX or Alpha system on a Windows environment allowing OpenVMS applications to run unmodified.
HP are providing extension licenses for the OpenVMS VAX/Alpha operating systems and OpenVMS layered products allowing them to be used in the CHARON-VAX and CHARON-AXP environment.
Transfer Licenses
SWEP product transfer licenses for the VAX or Alpha emulator environment will only be issued to customers who have a valid maintenance contract for our product:
- for XD Ada this will require a new product authorisation key (PAK) being sent to the customer.
- for CORAL and PERSPECTIVE this will require a re-licensing notification letter and a new product CD may be required depending on the machine type.
- parallel operations with existing licenses will require new licenses to be purchased.
