Product Support

What is provided under Support and Maintenance cover?

Full Support and Maintenance provides:

  • A telephone help and advice line.
  • A formal Problem Reporting and Response service, including E-mail system.
  • Information about problems reported by other users.
  • Publication of a regular newsletter providing information on known faults, restrictions and their fixes/workarounds.
  • Periodic update releases of products in order to:
    • maintain compatibility with upgrades to OpenVMS,
    • to maintain compatibility with changing validation requirements,
    • to correct faults
    • to incorporate product enhancements, if appropriate.

How do I report a problem?

Problems can be reported to the support helpdesk by taking one of the following actions:

To report general enquiries, software or documentation defects by e-mail, use the supplied Problem Report Template found on the Contact Us page.

If you are uncertain where the problem lies, or the situation is one where you need advice or remedial assistance, you can obtain telephone support from the technical helpdesk (see Contact Us page)
